In November of 2015 I had just started working for Southwest Initiative Foundation. One of my first tasks was to participate in a fund partner training event at Prairies Edge Casino in Granite Falls. It was my second day of work and my first chance to meet many of you! Since then, I’ve had the good fortune to travel the region and get to know you and your communities better. I’m continually impressed by the dedication shown by advisory board volunteers. The work you do helps to make your communities and the entire region stronger and I am gratified to be a small part of it.
Now it’s time for us to come together again to learn and share with each other. We will be hosting a training for fund partners on October 23rd at Prairie’s Edge Casino in Granite Falls. An inspiring and motivational day is planned with a strong focus on how we can make the most of our community’s unique assets to tell our stories.
