Another summer is just around the corner and that means SWIF’s fiscal year is coming to a close! Have you submitted an updated advisory board roster?
An updated roster is an annual requirement that ensures SWIF communicates with the most current advisory board members and disables online portal access to those who no longer serve. Having an updated board roster lets us know who we need to contact when we have questions regarding minutes, invoices, grants, etc.
A template form is available in the Forms section of the portal. Please take a moment to let us know who currently serves on your board. You can submit your updated roster to [email protected].
The fiscal new year is also a good time to be thinking about setting goals and plans for the year ahead. Your board has probably already discussed new approaches to grantmaking, marketing, fundraising, board recruitment or any number of activities that can lend purpose to your work and allow you to operate in a more efficient manner. But all too often our good intentions get laid aside. We put off taking the time to set real goals or develop actionable steps that will get us to where we want to go.
