Are you new to your board and wondering what this community foundation business is all about? Or maybe you’re a long-term board member who’s been thinking about how you might increase your skills and take your community foundation to a new level. Well we’ve got a deal for you! SWIF is looking for four to six community foundation advisory board members to join us at the National Conference for Growing Community Foundations.

The conference takes place October 14-16 in Wichita, Kansas and is tailored to small-staffed and volunteer-led community foundations. That’s us right? Here you can meet with peers from other community foundations and learn about marketing, effective grantmaking, planned giving and so much more. This three-day conference has something for everyone and is jam-packed with inspiring presentations and informational sessions that you’ll want to share with your board. I know I’m looking forward to attending and I hope you will be able to join me.
